Graduate Enterprise Programme, Cranfield School of Management, Bedfordshire.

1986
Set up textile block-printing workshop in London.

Exhibited at Cranfield School of Management, Bedfordshire.

Anita Roddick commissioned silk shawls.

1987
Textiles included in a feature on Contemporary Textile Gallery, London in Crafts magazine May/June.

Liberty of London and Harvey Nichols commissioned silk shawls.

Liberty Studio commissioned scarf and fabric designs.

Awarded Design Centre Selected Manufacturer status.

Presentations of own work given at London College of Printing, Polytechnic of Central London and Central School of Art & Design.

Exhibited at Royal Festival Hall; Avatar Design Company, Bath; Contemporary Textile Gallery, London; Camden Arts Centre and Howard Gardens Gallery, Cardiff (Goldsmiths’ touring exhibition).

1988
Textiles featured in The Fabric Decorator, a book on interior design by Sue Peverill.

Exhibited at Smith’s Gallery, Covent Garden; Contemporary Textile Gallery, London.

Relocated workshop to Shipley, West Yorkshire.

1989
Visiting Lecturer, Camden College, London.

Exhibited at Piece Hall Art Gallery, Halifax; Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford (solo exhibition during residency - see below).

Artist- in- Residence during the Edward Wadsworth Centenary Exhibition at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford. Produced a commissioned garment "Wadsworth Mantle", ran workshops for adults and gave demonstrations to school groups and general public.

Began making ceramic sculpture.

1990
Artist-in-Residence, Buttershaw Upper School, Bradford. Produced a commission "Wadsworth Wall Hanging" and taught A-Level specific textile design and printing workshops.

Visiting Artist, Bradford Girls’ Grammar School.

Exhibited at Manor House Art Gallery, Ilkley; Nicholas Treadwell Gallery, Bradford during Bradford Textile Arts Festival (solo exhibition and also produced commission, ‘Tumbling Heads Waistcoat‘ for Nicholas Treadwell).

1991
Exhibited at Linton Court Gallery, Settle; Design Exchange, Bradford; Bankfield Museum, Halifax, (solo exhibition and also gave presentations of own work to members of Northern Textile Society).

1992
Exhibited at Cartwright Hall Art Gallery, Bradford Open; Gustavo Romero Gallery, Howarth.

Moved to North Yorkshire, currently lives in York.

Exhibited at Quay Art Hull, (solo exhibition and also ran GCSE-specific fabric printing workshops and drop-in workshops); Gordon Reece Gallery, Knaresborough (during the Adornment exhibition, and also gave block printing demonstrations with visitor participation).

Exhibited at Open Eye Gallery, Edinburgh.

2000
Collaborated with Bim Hopewell in the making of five pairs of Noah’s Ark animal props for York Millennium Mystery Plays, York Minster which were subsequently exhibited at York Early Music Centre.

2002
Began concentrating mainly on painting.

Exhibited in Dean Clough Galleries Christmas Exhibition, Halifax.

2005
Recipient of Arts Council England Grants for the Arts.

Exhibited at City Screen, York; York Open Studios; Farfield Mill Arts and Heritage Centre, Cumbria, (joint exhibition with Jane Lewis).

Joined professional artists' organizations Axis and The Art House.

2006
Work published in a double-page feature "Inspiring Others" in March issue of Yorkshire Life.

Exhibited in York Open Studios; Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition; Leeds General Infirmary Art-at-Tonic (organized for members of The Art House); Williams Bar, York (with Jane Lewis and Bim Hopewell).
